Day 6

What Jesus does in us, He also wants to do through us. So as we follow Jesus and stay focused on eternity, we’ll live a life that impacts others. In Chapter 4, Paul’s final charge to the church is all about how they should live out their faith, practically, in their day-to-day lives. In other words, our faith should find its way into the practical aspects of our lives everyday.

Day 2

Throughout the book of Colossians, the Apostle Paul talks about the power of Christ to redeem us, deliver us, and lead us. Our hope doesn’t come from the world around us, it comes from Christ in us. In these verses, believers are reminded of what Jesus has done in our lives and why we should continue to share the Gospel with others.

Day 1

The book of Colossians was written by the Apostle Paul during a time when confusion and uncertainty were beginning to creep into the church. Paul wrote this epistle to remind the believers that Jesus Christ is supreme over all things and sufficient in all things. Paul’s favorite words to use were love, faith and hope because he wanted them to love Jesus, love others and hold onto faith and hope regardless of their circumstances. Paul was able to write this with such conviction because he was living it! In the midst of being under house arrest in Rome, his faith and hope were not based on the things of this world or present circumstances but on God above.
