Day 6
The Christian life includes warfare. All who belong to the Kingdom of God are in a spiritual battle against Satan and his army, so we need to pick up our spiritual armor and weapons! Our role is to fight the good fight of faith by hearing and obeying God. We can stand in the victory that Christ has already won.

Day 5
Walk as children of Light! Our new life in Christ doesn’t only bring internal change, it changes every part of our lives. As God transforms us from the inside out, the way we live, or “walk”, should stand out in a world of darkness. This includes our behavior and attitude towards our family, our friends, and our acquaintances.

Day 4
A heavenly calling demands heavenly conduct. We must lay aside our old life, like an old garment, in order to put on the new life and walk in unity and holiness. When we are right with God, we will be right with others.

Day 3
The term “mystery” means “something that is hidden until the appropriate time comes for God to reveal it.” Up until this point, “the people of God” referred to the nation of Israel, but now this new life is available to the whole world. Those that are far from God are invited to come, receive redemption, and share as heirs of the promise.

Day 2
Although we are all born spiritually dead and separate from God, when we surrender our lives to Jesus He causes us to become a completely new person. We have an amazing identity in Christ. We become spiritually alive, we’re reconciled to God, we have access to God the Father, and we start to have peace with each other. We’re His workmanship, which means “poem” or “masterpiece” and He has good works for us to walk in!

Day 1
Identity precedes activity. The book of Ephesians was written by the Apostle Paul to remind Christians of who they are in Christ and how they should live in light of their identity as children of God. As Christians, Paul tells us that our identity comes from the work of the Trinity: We are chosen by the Father, redeemed by the Son, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. It is important that we embrace these truths, because when we know who we are, we’ll know what to do.
