Changing lives, changes lives. Following Jesus means that we conduct ourselves in a manner that pleases Him.  In fact, our obedience is the evidence of our faith. “The test of fellowship is not warmth of devotion, but holiness of life.” As we hear and obey God, our lives become a witness for Jesus.

We are saved FROM sin and FOR a purpose.  After we surrender our lives to Jesus, God has some good works for us to do.  Paul wrote to Titus to encourage the young pastor, direct him in his mission, and warn him against the false teachers of his day.  In Chapter 1, Paul instructs him to find leaders and how to identify them.

Day Two

In this chapter, Paul writes about how the “mystery of lawlessness” is already at work. “Lawlessness” is simply not submitting to the authority (or law) of God. Culture tells us that there is freedom in doing whatever we want. But true freedom is found in obedience to God’s Word. How quickly do we obey when the Holy Spirit speaks?

Day One

2 Thessalonians was written almost immediately after Paul's first letter to the Church at Thessalonica. The church members were often thinking about Christ’s second coming so Paul helped them understand that while they were waiting for Christ’s return, their role was to keep learning how to love God, love others and live on mission.
