FALL OUTreach 2026

Update 2

Fall Outreach is underway at ASU, UNLV and Texas State! As freshmen settle into their dorms and explore campus, our staff and student leaders are meeting them, building authentic relationships and inviting them to join their tribe through events on campus, church and Survivor Weekend. Already, we’ve connected with more than 2,200 new students, and over 700 are interested in getting involved.

STORIES FROM CAMPUS

Texas State
Two Texas State freshmen looking for connection joined us for an event. One said he could tell our students genuinely cared about one another and he told our leaders, “I want to be part of a community like that”.

ASU
One Arizona State freshman shared she was fighting to find where she belongs and was choosing friends carefully. After hearing about our church community, she eagerly made plans to join our students for pickleball.

UNLV
One UNLV freshman arrived alone and worried about making friends. A student leader connected with him over shared interests, and invited him to an event. He also introduced the freshman to his friends and helped him belong on his very first day.

ASU
At ASU, our team met a freshman from Chicago. They invited him out to pickleball and he brought two of his friends and they really enjoyed getting to know our community. He wants to continue coming to more events.

ASU
An ASU freshman arrived on campus feeling like an outsider after choosing not to join a sorority with her friends. She wasn't sure where she'd land, until we invited her to a Survivor activities. She jumped at the chance, and afterward told us, "This is the community I've been looking for."
