During Fall Outreach, our teams have been inviting students to church where they learn about Jesus, His Word and connect with others.

This past Sunday, students who had met our teams only days earlier joined us as we continued our series on The Book of James. Pastor Brian preached a powerful sermon on living and active faith that changes your life.

STORIES FROM CHURCH

Vincent came to church just eight days after meeting our team during move-in at UNLV. After hearing Pastor Brian’s message, his heart softened and he realized he was spiritually dead and needed Jesus. After church, two teammates did a Gospel Appointment with him and Vincent decided to go all in and surrender his life to Jesus!

Sarah recently became interested in faith, and when she learned our volleyball event at UNLV was hosted by a church, she was eager to connect. She brought three friends to church this Sunday and shared, “I really feel like I found my people.” All four want to come back.

Samson met our UNLV team on campus, started coming to events, and joined us for church. He was deeply impacted and related with a lot of the sermon. He said meeting our team was no coincidence; he's found people who want to follow God together.

Elli came to volleyball at NAU nervous about making friends. She connected fast, lit up hearing about Survivor Weekend, and loved her first church service. Now she feels like she belongs, and will stay involved through church, the Midweek Gathering, and Survivor Weekend.

Adrian spent time with the Flagstaff tribe at NAU, then came to church and was deeply moved. He said he needed to take his faith seriously and asked for a Bible. Our team gave him one, and he's looking forward to what's next.

Sebastian came to nearly every event our team has hosted at ASU, then attended church for the first time this weekend and loved it. He shared that his faith had been dormant, but he’s ready to be active. Now he’s looking forward to our Midweek Gathering and plans to bring his roommate!
